Amanda Bachmann

Amanda Bachmann is a Nuclear Engineer at Argonne National Laboratory, beginning in January 2024. Previously, Amanda served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from August 2020 to December 2023 and as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville from August 2019 to August 2020. Amanda gained intern experience at Oak Ridge National Laboratory and Duke Energy Corporation, focusing on reactor systems engineering and radiation transport methods. Amanda holds a PhD in Nuclear Plasma and Radiological Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, a Master's degree in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and a Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Engineering from the same institution.
