David Ord

David Ord is an accomplished engineer currently serving as an AVTC Advanced Modeling & Controls Engineer at Argonne National Laboratory since January 2022. Prior experience includes a role as a Controls & Research Engineer at Ford Motor Company from May 2014 to January 2022, and a Graduate Research Assistant position at Virginia Tech from August 2012 to May 2014. David also completed a Product Development Internship at Ford Motor Company in the summer of 2013 and a Systems Engineer Internship at Woodward, Inc. in the summer of 2012. David holds both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech.
