Joshua Bergerson

Joshua Bergerson is a Principal Infrastructure Analyst at Argonne National Laboratory, with expertise in infrastructure systems, vulnerability assessments, and natural hazard impacts on infrastructure. Previously, Joshua served as a Postdoctoral Appointee, focusing on building energy efficiency technologies using the CoBAM model, achieving significant contributions in model validation and publications. Joshua also has experience as an Adjunct Instructor and a Research Assistant at the Illinois Institute of Technology, where methodologies in uncertainty quantification and structural reliability assessments were applied. Early career experience includes a Structural Engineering Intern role at J.V. Henik, Inc., where engagement in structural forensic work and project management was demonstrated. Joshua holds a PhD in Civil Engineering and a B.S. in Architectural Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology.
