Priyash Misra is a Principal Research Engineer at Argonne National Laboratory since October 2019, focusing on Cooperative Driving Automation (CDA) and V2X communication frameworks. Previously, as a Graduate Research Assistant at West Virginia University, Priyash led Connected and Automated Vehicles (CAV) initiatives for the EcoCAR Mobility Challenge and contributed to hardware and software architectures for hybrid electric vehicles. Priyash has extensive experience in vehicle controls, simulation, and mentoring senior design students. Additionally, teaching experience as an Assistant Professor at the International Institute of Information Technology included courses on microcontroller systems and embedded programming. Priyash holds a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering and a Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
