Marvin Alfaro has extensive experience in finance and private equity, currently serving as Vice President of Private Equity at Ariel Alternatives since July 2021. Prior to this role, Marvin held the position of Vice President in Finance at Portfolio Advisors from December 2018 to July 2021, and Vice President of Private Equity Services at JPMorgan Chase & Co. from February 2017 to December 2018. Additional experience includes serving as Director of Private Equity Controller at Visium Asset Management, LP from January 2014 to January 2017, Fund Controller at Quadrangle Group LLC from December 2007 to January 2014, and Manager at Deloitte & Touche LLP from October 2001 to November 2007. Marvin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from the University of Connecticut, which was complemented by study at Universidad de Granada in 1997-1998.
