Nishit Shukla

Nishit Shukla is a seasoned professional in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) research with a diverse background in climate resilience and policy development. Currently serving as a Senior ESG Research Associate at Ariel Investments since October 2023, Nishit also co-founded ReHive, providing venture building and fundraising advisory to startups focused on climate resilience. Previous roles include EDF Climate Corps Fellow at Crestview Partners, Obama Scholar with the Obama Foundation, and Community Builder for The Climate Ark, where Nishit established a network of professionals dedicated to climate action. Nishit's consulting experience includes working with Billion Lives Business Initiatives to pivot an ESG platform and co-authoring India's first city-level low-carbon roadmap for Pune while contributing to significant emissions reductions. Educational credentials include a Master's in Public Policy Analysis from the Harris School at the University of Chicago and a Bachelor's in Mechatronics.
