Shahid Ali Habib has a diverse work experience in the financial industry. Shahid Ali started their career in 2000 at Motiwala Securities Private Limited, where they served as the Head of Equities Sales from July 2000 to June 2002, and later as the Chief Executive from July 2002 to June 2007. Shahid Ali then joined Shahid Ali Habib Securities as Chairman from January 2006 to December 2012. In January 2010, they briefly worked as a Consultant at Bank Albilad. Since January 2013, they have been serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Arif Habib Limited.
Shahid Ali Habib pursued their education chronologically, starting with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences. Shahid Ali completed this program between 1992 and 1994. Following this, Shahid Ali Habib enrolled in the Institute of Business Administration, where they obtained an MBA degree specialized in Finance and Economics. Shahid Ali successfully completed this program from 1995 to 1997.
