Kate Sebby

Kate Sebby, MSLIS, serves as Data Governance Program Manager at Arity since October 2019, with prior roles including Data Governance Associate Manager and Data Governance and Quality Consultant. From October 2010 to October 2019, Kate worked as a Data Management Librarian at the Congressional Research Service, focusing on metadata, archives, digitization, records management, data quality, and other related areas. Earlier experience includes roles at BAE Systems, Marymount University, DePaul University, and Michigan State University, where responsibilities spanned cataloging, acquisitions, circulation, and information management. Kate holds a Master of Science in Library and Information Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, a Data Science certificate from Georgetown University, and a Master’s degree in Labor Relations and Human Resources, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, both from Michigan State University.
