Christina Smith has extensive experience in education, currently serving as the Summer School EL Subject Coordinator and EL teacher at Arlington Public Schools since October 1992. Christina holds multiple endorsements in ESL, Bilingual Education, Spanish, Counseling, English, and Social Studies, and received a distinguished rating in CAP Portfolio I in 2010. Prior to this role, Christina worked as an instructor at the USDA Graduate School and Georgetown University, as well as a substitute teacher in the Metropolitan Area. Christina earned a BS/MAT in Linguistics, Spanish, and English as a Second Language/Bilingual Education from Georgetown University, a Master's of Education in Counseling and Development from George Mason University, and has completed studies at Pontificia Universidad Católica De Ecuador and Universidad de Sevilla. Christina is also an alumnus of Phillips Academy-Andover.
