Geoff Graae has held various roles in the energy and finance sectors. Geoff began their career at the Program for Research and Investment Management Excellence (PRIME) as an Energy & Utilities Portfolio Manager from an unknown start date to July 2011. Geoff then joined CIBC Capital Markets as a Capital Markets Analyst in Commodity Sales from March 2012 to December 2014, and later became a Capital Markets Associate in the same department from December 2014 to February 2017. Since March 2017, Geoff has been employed as the Vice President of Origination at ARM Energy.
Geoff Graae completed their Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance & Accounting (Double Major) from the University of Alberta, which they attended from 2008 to 2012. In addition to their undergraduate education, they obtained certifications such as the Financial Risk Manager (FRM) - Certified from the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP) in January 2021 and the Energy Risk Professional (ERP) - Certified from GARP in December 2013. Furthermore, they earned a Sustainability in Energy Micro-Credential from the Sustainability in Energy Micro-Credential institution in April 2023.
