Thomas Lenart

Thomas Lenart is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in digital integrated circuit (IC) design and machine learning technologies. Currently serving as a Principal Engineer and Team Lead at Arm since June 2014, Thomas leads a team focused on the development of Neural Processing Units (NPUs) and next-generation video IPs. Prior to Arm, Thomas held key positions at Oticon, contributing significantly to DSP processor development for hearing aids, and conducted PhD research in digital ASIC design at Lund University. As a co-founder of Phase Holographic Imaging, Thomas played a critical role in developing innovative holographic microscopy solutions. With expertise that spans academic and practical applications, including previous positions at Xilinx, C Technologies, and early ventures in software development, Thomas has a solid educational foundation with a PhD and MSc in engineering from Lund University.
