Michelle Stone currently serves as a Senior Operations Coordinator at ACLED, a position held since March 2022, following previous roles including Associate Operations Coordinator and Administration and Operations Officer. Prior experience includes working as a Corporate Services Officer at the British Consulate General in San Francisco, focusing on office management and human resources. Michelle also contributed to WorldWideWomen as a Communication Associate and Volunteer Coordinator, where responsibilities included building a database of women-owned businesses and managing outreach efforts. Other volunteer roles include experiences with Oxfam, Safe Child Thailand, and SONOMA COAST DIVERS LLC. Michelle holds a Master of Arts in Human Rights from UCL and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from San Francisco State University.

The Armed Conflict Location & Event Data Project (ACLED) is a disaggregated data collection, analysis, and crisis mapping project. ACLED is the highest quality and most widely used real-time data source on political violence and protest around the world. Practitioners, researchers, and governments depend on ACLED for the latest reliable information on current conflict and disorder patterns.
