Mohamed Hegazi has a strong and extensive work experience in the energy industry. Mohamed is currently the Chief Executive Officer of ARO Drilling since 2023. Hegazi also worked at Schlumberger, first as the General Manager from 2009 to 2010 and later as the Business Manager of Gulf Countries from 2010 to 2012. Prior to this, they held various positions including Regional Account Director Europe, General Manager, Worldwide HR Manager, and Operational, HR and Management roles from 1992 to 2008. Mohamed Hegazi's education history includes two notable academic experiences. From 1988 to 1992, they attended The American University in Cairo, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree. Their field of study at this institution was a combination of Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration. Following this undergraduate program, in the year 2001, they enrolled at Harvard Business School for a Post Graduate degree in Business Administration and Management, with a general focus. Additionally, Mohamed Hegazi holds a certification as a Lead Auditor from an institution in the UK, although the exact year and month of obtaining this certification are not provided.
