Maayan Gal

Maayan Gal is a Co-Founder and Scientific Advisor at Arrakis Bio since August 2023, and holds the position of Principal Investigator at Tel Aviv University since October 2019. Additionally, Maayan is a Co-Founder and Scientific Advisor at both Bountica and ProJini AgChem, roles assumed in August 2021 and December 2019, respectively. Previous experience includes serving as Principal Scientist and Principal Investigator at MIGAL Galilee Research Institute from October 2012 to October 2019 and as a Post-doctoral researcher at Harvard Medical School from September 2009 to September 2012, focusing on drug discovery and protein-protein interactions. Maayan obtained a PhD in Chemistry from the Weizmann Institute of Science, where research involved methodological development of ultrafast NMR spectroscopy, following an undergraduate degree in Biology-Physics from Bar-Ilan University from 2000 to 2003. Early career experience includes working as a psychometry instructor at Kidum from January 2001 to January 2003.
