Karen is a founding Partner and co-manages ArrowMark’s CLO and specialty finance investments and research analyst team. Prior to founding ArrowMark, Karen served as Executive Vice President and Portfolio Manager at Janus Capital, managing $10 billion for two strategies: Janus Balanced Fund and Janus Core Equity Fund, as well as institutional separate accounts (2000-2005). Karen was also the Assistant Portfolio Manager of the Janus Fund (1998-2000). She joined Janus Capital as an equity analyst in 1995. Prior to Janus Capital Group, she worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLC in the audit and mergers and acquisitions departments. Karen graduated from the University of Colorado with a bachelor’s degree and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
