Robin Schnur has extensive experience in museum education and public engagement, currently serving as the Woman's Board Endowed Executive Director of the Ryan Learning Center and Senior Director in Learning and Public Engagement at the Art Institute of Chicago since January 2002. Prior roles at the Art Institute include Director in Museum Education and Lecturer and Fellow in Museum Education. Schnur has also held teaching positions at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and Columbia College Chicago. Early career experience includes roles as a Teacher/Assistant Teacher at Southern Maine Learning Center and Gallery Assistant at Danforth Gallery, along with a special project in museum registration at Mystic Seaport. Educational qualifications include a B.A. in Art History from Williams College and an M.A. in Art History, Theory, and Criticism from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, with additional studies at the University of East Anglia.
