Maxim Frolov, PhD, is a seasoned optical engineer with extensive experience in optics and optical design, currently serving as a Senior Optical Engineer and Moscow Hardware R&D Group Leader at Artec 3D since December 2011. Prior roles include Development Director at LOGroup, where Maxim focused on development strategy and R&D, and Associate Professor at Bauman Moscow State Technical University, specializing in computer technology in science and education. Previous positions include leading optical simulation efforts at Samsung Electronics, where Maxim contributed to the design of LGP illumination systems and backlight simulation software, as well as involvement in numerous projects as a developer and project coordinator. Maxim holds a PhD and a Master's degree in optoelectronics and optics from Moscow State Technical University n.a. Bauman.
