Robert Webb has extensive work experience in the insurance industry. Robert began their career at Liberty Mutual Insurance, where they worked as a Senior Commercial Underwriter for three years. During this time, they underwrote commercial property and casualty accounts and generated Worker's Compensation loss forecasts.
Webb then moved on to SCOR, where they worked as an Assistant Secretary in Treaty Underwriting for three years. In this role, they established relationships with reinsurance brokers and insurance company executives and managed a portfolio of accounts by performing underwriting audits.
After that, Webb joined Zurich North America as an Account Executive for Program Solutions. Robert traveled to perform audits of Managing General Agents (MGAs) and evaluated and implemented new program business to pursue company growth goals.
Finally, Webb worked at Artex Risk Solutions, Inc. as a Division Assistant Vice President in Underwriting. In this position, they improved productivity by innovating advanced Excel programming to automate the renewal underwriting process. Robert also led and underwrote a renewal book of business totaling $145,000,000 in premium and influenced senior management and captive board of directors to make decisions that maintained and improved profitability.
Throughout their career, Webb demonstrated strong underwriting skills, the ability to manage relationships and portfolios, and a commitment to achieving profitable business.
Robert Webb attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1990 to 1995. Robert earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mathematics during this time.
