Ian Blitz has a diverse work experience across various companies and roles. Ian is currently working at Artisight as an ML Engineering Director since March 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at Artisight from March 2022 to March 2023. Before joining Artisight, Ian worked at Avanade, where they held multiple managerial and consulting positions. Ian was a Group Manager, Application Architecture from December 2021 to March 2022, Manager, Full-Stack Software Engineering from May 2020 to December 2021, Manager, Advanced Analytics from December 2018 to May 2020, and Sr. Consultant from March 2018 to December 2018. Ian also gained experience as an Advanced Software Engineer at Relativity from December 2016 to March 2018. Prior to that, they worked at Avanade as a Sr. Consultant from January 2013 to December 2016. Ian's earlier work experiences include roles as a TA Supervisor at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from August 2012 to December 2012, a Teaching Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from October 2011 to June 2012, a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Illinois from June 2008 to December 2011, a Teaching Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from August 2008 to May 2009, an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Kent State University from June 2007 to August 2007, and an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Eastern Illinois University from May 2005 to August 2006.
Ian Blitz earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Beloit College, where they studied from 2004 to 2008. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Science degree at the University of Illinois System, specializing in Chemistry, specifically Physical and Analytical Chemistry. Ian attended the University of Illinois from 2008 to 2011. In addition to their academic achievements, Ian Blitz holds certifications as a Relativity Certified Administrator from kCura, obtained in January 2017, and as an MCSD: Web Applications from Microsoft, obtained in April 2014.

The HIPAA-compliant platform from Artisight uses AI to evaluate data and produce new and previously inaccessible data sets. In accordance with the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act, Artisight provides computervision technologies for the healthcare industry that protect the privacy of patients and healthcare professionals.
