Joanne Betty Conlon is an accomplished visual artist with extensive experience in various artistic and educational roles. Since January 1988, Joanne has showcased a passion for photography integrated within fine art printmaking. As co-owner of Pixelated.ie since 2007 and a graphic designer at Forvis Mazars since July 2001, Joanne contributes to the visual arts landscape while also managing fine art print sales as an administrator at the Graphic Studio Gallery from 2002 to 2003. Additionally, Joanne has taught mosaic skills to adults and conducted web design and development courses, demonstrating a commitment to sharing knowledge in the arts and technology fields. Joanne holds an Ordinary Bachelor's degree in Fine Art Printmaking from Limerick School of Art and Design.

ARTIST
I am an artist and I paint acrylic abstracts. My painting evolved from the stage. Painting, like theater, tells the human story. As a theater artist, I’ve often called on nonverbal elements such as color and texture to convey character. My paintings are similar attempts to capture the “landscapes” of human experience. These are explorations; adventures in to that which is elusive and, at the same time, universally familiar. I am intrigued by how little of our life experience can be successfully framed by words. The wellspring of thought and emotion that is unique in the individual and common to us all is the thing I am after. For now, I try to name fragments of the “universal consciousness” with gestures in color, movement, and texture. Please visit my website at elizabethwiseman.com.
