Syed Qais Hayat

Syed Qais Hayat serves as the Senior Advisor and Head of Defence Innovations & ARTGARAGE Prototyping Infrastructure at ARTPARK since April 2021, where significant contributions include the establishment of ARTGARAGE with an investment exceeding Rs 15 Cr and the procurement of essential equipment valued over Rs 3 Cr for robotics and autonomous systems. Previously, Syed held various strategic positions in the Indian Navy, culminating in the role of Joint Director Naval Operations, where management of over Rs 1000 Cr in capital projects and an Rs 80 Cr annual revenue budget was achieved. Syed's academic credentials include an MBA from the Indian School of Business, a Master of Science in Defence and Strategic Studies, and multiple certifications in international law and foreign languages. Current engagements include roles on the Governing Council of Shetty Institute of Technology and as a Board Advisor for IfTab.
