Barthelemy Atsin is an experienced animation educator with a career spanning over several years in various educational settings. Currently serving as an Animation Teacher at Sar High School since August 2019, Barthelemy has also worked as an Animation Contractor at ArtsConnection, teaching Adobe After Effects and Premiere to high school students. In addition, Barthelemy holds the position of Director of Curriculum and Instruction at Space Battle and has contributed to Magic Box Productions as an Animation Teacher and Teaching Fellow, where responsibilities included creating motion graphics and developing student projects. Previous roles include Animation Teacher at Manhattan Youth and Visual Art Teacher at Creative Art Works, as well as a creative producer for a children's show at BRIC. Barthelemy's academic background includes a Bachelor's Degree in Theatre from Marymount Manhattan College.

ArtsConnection is a nationally recognized non-profit arts education organization with a 40-year history of giving New York City public school students, pre-kindergarten through grade 12, the skills, motivation and positive reinforcement they need to succeed academically and personally. Our award-winning arts programs support literacy and foster communication, creativity, collaboration and critical thinking. We direct our work to the most high-needs communities, and each year reach 45,000 students through partnerships with over 120 public schools across the 5 boroughs and through after-school and weekend initiatives that engage middle and high school students in the cultural resources of New York City.
