Michael Thwaites is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management and strategic leadership. Currently serving as Head of Strategic Projects at Aruma since November 2022, Michael is responsible for the Executive PMO and change programs. Prior roles include Project Consultant at Simply Energy, and Director of Governance and Transformation at SERCO LIMITED, where responsibilities encompassed oversight of project frameworks and operational delivery for various contracts. With a strong background in workforce optimization, operational support, and project methodology, Michael’s career spans numerous industries and roles, including positions at City West Water, Origin Energy, Computershare, Foxtel, and National Australia Bank. Michael holds an MBA from the Australian Institute of Business and is pursuing a Bachelor of Psychological Science at Deakin University, along with certifications in change management and project management.
