Hilde Tonne

Hilde joined Arup as a non Executive director on 1 April 2023. Hilde is currently also the CEO of Statnett, the state-owned electricity systems operator for Norway. She was previously Executive Director and Chief Innovation Officer with Ramboll Group, and has just completed a term as non-Executive Chair of the Research Council of Norway. Hilde has diverse leadership experience in the energy and infrastructure markets, including recent roles in the renewable generation sector. She lived in Thailand for several years as a director in Telenor Group, a leading international telecommunications company, and is now based in Oslo, Norway.
