Owen Martin

Owen Martin is an Intelligent Transportation Systems Engineer and Transport Planner at Arup since August 2024, specializing in pedestrian planning, transportation innovations, urban design, and sustainable development. Previously, Owen served as an Undergrad Research Assistant at the Institute for Transportation Research and Education, contributing to the A-STEP project focused on freight rail decarbonization decision-making. An earlier internship at Arup involved similar responsibilities in pedestrian planning and urban design. Owen's experience also includes project development at Ramey Kemp Associates and roadway analysis at RS&H, along with content creation for WKNC 88.1 FM HD-1/HD-2. Owen holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from North Carolina State University, completed in May 2024.
