Matt Obrig

Matt Obrig, CPA, currently serves as Senior Director, Corporate Controller at Aryaka since February 2025. Previously, Matt worked as Global Controller at Arcserve from May 2024 to February 2025, leading ASC 805 and ASC 852 accounting initiatives and developing a SQL-based reporting tool. Prior to that, Matt held the position of Global Controller at TrueCommerce, successfully completing the ASC 842 transition. Matt's extensive experience at Arcserve spans from 2015 to 2023 in several roles, including Controller, where industry-specific solutions aligned with ASC 606 guidelines were implemented. Earlier professional roles include Senior Accountant positions at K2 Logistics, Merrill Corporation, Despatch Industries, and US BioEnergy, coupled with foundational education in Economics from St. Olaf College and Accounting from Dakota County Technical College.
