EVP, Sustainability & Investor Relations at Asanko Gold Inc

Todd joined Galiano Gold in 2020, assuming the role of EVP for Sustainability, and is responsible for advancing Galiano’s Sustainability and ESG programs. He brings over 20 years of experience in the environmental, social, and community aspects of the resource extractive sectors as well as public and aboriginal governments. Prior to joining Galiano Gold, he worked as the CSO for Danakali Limited, an Australian junior potash mining company in Eritrea, and as VP for CSR and Government Relations at Nevsun Resources, a Canadian mid-tier mining company. In both companies, he played a central role in developing leading-edge CSR initiatives to establish social licenses and responsible operations in challenging jurisdictions. His previous roles include senior management positions at Enbridge Pipelines, Inuvialuit Regional Corporation, and the Government of Nunavut. Todd holds designations with the Canadian Institute of Planners, the International Right of Way Association, and has Master’s degrees in International Relations, Leadership, and Bachelor of Science degrees in Environmental Planning and Environmental Studies.

Asanko Gold Inc. is a gold producer. The Company has operations in the Republic of Ghana. The Company's segments include Canada and Ghana. The Company's principal asset is the Asanko Gold Mine (AGM) located in Ghana, West Africa. The Company's Project 5M will upgrade the plant's throughput to five metric tons per annum and expand mining operations to integrate the Esaase deposit, including the construction of a 27-kilometer overland conveyor. The Company is involved in open pit mining and conventional processing of gold ores mined in its Asanko Gold Mine in Ghana.
