Debra Nelson

Debra Nelson has extensive experience in asset management and investment operations, currently serving as the Manager of Asset Management Operations at ASB Bank since May 2017, where responsibilities include overseeing operational and investment administration functions, performance monitoring of outsourced providers, and stakeholder management. Previously, at Sovereign from July 2007 to April 2017, Debra held various roles including Senior Analyst and Investment Change Analyst, focusing on coordinating change initiatives within the Investment Operations team. Earlier experience includes working at SJK Chartered Accountants as an Accounts Assistant, and a progression of roles at NZI Life Limited in the Corporate Superannuation Department, ultimately managing a team as the Superannuation Scheme Manager. Debra's educational background includes attendance at Henderson High School.
