Jo Stevens

Jo Stevens is an experienced technology professional, currently serving as the Head of Engineering at Ascend.io since June 2018, where responsibilities include management and development of the infrastructure and tools stack. Previously, Jo held the position of Technical Lead at ExNinja Interactive LLC, focusing on AI development for a mobile word game. At SalesforceIQ, Jo advanced from Software Engineer in Test to Technical Lead, where leadership involved transitioning the team’s focus towards enhancing the developer experience and designing migration paths for infrastructure. Early career experiences include roles as a Technical Intern at Daglow Entertainment, Sales Associate at Armani Exchange, Stage Tech at Saratoga High School, and self-employed tutor in math and physics. Jo holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering with a concentration in Computer Science from the University of Michigan.
