Dharm Vahalia

Dharm Vahalia serves as the Managing Director at Ascend Performance Materials since December 2012, overseeing full P&L and general management for South Asia, particularly focusing on integrating the acquired compounding division of Formulated Polymers Ltd. Previously, Vahalia held key roles including Sr. Director of Corporate Strategy & Growth, Global Business Director for a $500M Nylon specialty business, and Global Marketing Director for a $1B Nylon business. Prior experience includes positions at FMC as Global Brand Manager for Avicel Pharmaceutical Excipients, Honeywell as Global Marketing Manager for nylon resins, and GE managing specialty engineered products. Vahalia holds an MBA in General Management from the University of California, Berkeley, a Master’s degree in Plastics Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, and a Bachelor’s degree in Automobile Engineering from the University of Mumbai.
