Claudia Gomes

Claudia Gomes is an experienced professional in the biotechnology field, currently serving as Vice President of Product Development Projects and Vice President of Biologics Development at Ascendis Pharma since April 2015, following roles including Senior Director and Director in Late Stage Biologics Development. Previously, Claudia worked at Novo Nordisk as a Project Manager and Research Scientist in Protein Separation and Virology from June 2008 to March 2015. Prior to that, roles included Scientist in Downstream Development and Manufacture at CMC Biopharmaceuticals A/S and a PhD student at DTU Denmark, where a PhD in Biotechnology was obtained from 2001 to 2006. Claudia also completed a Licenciatura in Chemical Engineering/Biotechnology at Instituto Superior Técnico between 1993 and 1999.
