Cristina Fernandez Gomez

Cristina Fernandez Gomez is an experienced Project Manager in Quality Control Drug Substance at Ascendis Pharma since September 2021. Prior to this role, Cristina worked as a QC Scientist at AGC Biologics from July 2018 to August 2021 and as a Process Biochemist at Upfront Chromatography A/S from September 2016 to June 2018, where expertise in chromatography systems for protein and peptide purification was utilized. Cristina's earlier experience includes a position as a Research Assistant at Nuevolution A/S in 2016, focusing on parallel chemistry for drug development, and as a Scientist at Medtronic R&D Diabetes Denmark from December 2012 to July 2015, involved in the advancement of glucose monitoring sensors. Cristina holds a Master of Science in Advanced and Applied Chemistry with a focus on Catalysis and Nanotechnology from DTU - Technical University of Denmark and a Licentiate degree in Chemistry from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.
