Mike G. serves as the Information Security Officer at Ascensus since February 2019 and holds the title of CISO and Cybersecurity Consultant with Cybersecurity since October 2018. With extensive expertise in financial, health, and higher education sectors, Mike G. focuses on implementing security best practices and developing policies aligning with regulatory compliance. Previously, Mike G. was the University Director for Information Protection and Security at Rutgers University from March 2006 to October 2018, where responsibilities included enhancing the university’s security posture and managing risks for over 20,000 faculty and staff. Prior experience includes roles at Pershing, LLC, Merrill Lynch, Brown Brothers Harriman, and Computer Sciences Corporation, where strategic planning, governance, regulatory compliance, and security architecture were key focus areas.
