Yurgen Schembri

Yurgen Schembri Xuereb is a seasoned Technical Architect and Lead Software Engineer at Ascent since June 2017, overseeing agile teams and delivering scalable cloud-based solutions using the Azure stack. Yurgen has extensive experience in software development, having progressed from a Software Developer to a Senior Software Developer, contributing to various projects in manufacturing, logistics, and security while also mentoring junior developers. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence, FinTech, and Big Data and a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology with a focus on Artificial Intelligence, both from the University of Malta. Additional experience includes video editing for local television and leadership roles in media education courses.
