Ascentec Engineering
Morris serves as Director of Research and Development at Ascentec Engineering and is responsible for new product/process design and development for all divisions of the company.
Morris holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Washington State University and a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Portland. His research focused on advanced computer aided motion control. He has twelve years of custom automation design and integration experience and five years of experience as a process engineer in the electronics assembly industry. He was also an NPI engineer responsible for the successful integration of prototypes and new products into manufacturing. He is a specialist in custom requirements for designing and manufacturing fixtures that reduce time and increase accuracy for CAD and CAM, and is trained in NEPA70 and NEC1996 electrical codes.

Ascentec Engineering was founded in 2001 by a team of process and manufacturing engineers all with a solid background in electronics manufacturing processes. All brought with them experience in designing innovative and productivity-enhancing tools/fixtures that held up to the technology changes within the industry. From this experience, Ascentec Engineering was formed with the goal of providing high value, innovative, and expeditious tooling solutions unmatched in the industry.
