Neill is Executive Chairman of Ascot Group Limited and Ascot Bermuda Limited. He co-founded RenaissanceRe Holdings in 1993 and served as its Chief Executive Officer from November 2005 to July 2013. He served as a director of Platinum Underwriters Holdings from 2003 to 2005. Neill began his career as a reinsurance broker in the United States in 1976 and served in various senior capacities as a broker until forming Renaissance Re.
