Jeff Spalazzi

Jeff Spalazzi is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in medical education and robotics within the healthcare sector. Currently serving as the Senior Manager of Medical Education and Training in Medical Affairs at Asensus Surgical since April 2021, Jeff Spalazzi leads surgical robotics training programs that empower surgeons and staff to effectively use advanced RAS technologies, while also supporting product launches of innovative AI-driven surgical tools. Prior to this role, Jeff held various positions at Stryker from March 2008 to April 2021, including Senior Manager of Operations & Analytics for Robotics Clinical Education, where Jeff oversaw clinical and technical training for Mako Product Specialists and Sales Representatives, as well as positions as Senior Research Engineer and Research Scientist, contributing significantly to the development of advanced surgical implant technologies and regenerative medicine. Jeff Spalazzi holds a PhD and MS in Biomedical Engineering from Columbia Engineering and a BS in Biomedical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University.
