Ahmad Syukri Mustakim has extensive work experience in project and contract management, particularly in the fields of civil operation and maintenance. Ahmad Syukri served as the Head of Asset Affair Project and Contract Management cum Project Manager at Public Works Authority 'Ashghal' in Qatar, where they administered drainage and road projects with significant budgets and oversaw the awarding of new contracts. Ahmad Syukri also played a key role in transforming project operation strategies. Prior to this, Ahmad worked as a Senior Project Engineer at Gamuda Berhad, where they managed the construction of elevated structures, stations, and car park buildings. Ahmad Syukri was later promoted to Head of Department and successfully completed various construction projects, which led to their rapid advancement within the company.

Ahmad Syukri Mustakim completed a Malaysia Education Certificate in Civil Engineering from the Technical Institute of Kuala Lumpur from 1999 to 2000. Ahmad Syukri then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, which they obtained from 2001 to 2006.
