Faizan Samee is a highly experienced civil engineer specializing in transportation and roadway engineering, with a career spanning over 16 years. Currently serving as a Senior Roads Engineer and Project Manager at Public Works Authority ‘Ashghal’ in Qatar, Faizan is responsible for the comprehensive design and management of a large-scale infrastructure project covering 1500 hectares. Previous roles include Senior Highway Engineer at Parsons Corporation, where significant contributions were made to projects like the Al Khor Expressway and Ifrane Airport Upgrades, and Design Engineer positions at companies such as Neilsoft and SNC-Lavalin. Education includes a Master’s in Transportation Engineering & Management from B.M.S. College of Engineering and a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering from P.D.A. College of Engineering.

The Public Works Authority 'Ashghal' was established in 2004 to be responsible for the planning, design, procurement, construction, delivery, and asset management of all infrastructure projects and public buildings in Qatar. Ashghal’s key responsibilities include governing the design, construction, and management of major projects including roads, drainage and buildings such as public buildings, schools and hospitals.
