Rachael Rano

Rachael Rano is an experienced professional in the fashion and merchandising industry, currently serving as the Assistant Site Merchandising Manager at Ashley Furniture Industries since September 2022. Rachael previously took a career sabbatical from May 2021 to September 2022 to care for a child and complete a Bachelor’s Degree from Florida International University. Prior experience includes roles at HSN as both an Assistant Buyer for food products and a Merchandise Assistant for various categories, showcasing expertise in managing vendor relationships and product selection. Rachael has also held design positions at Deepa Gurnani and Kay Unger New York, with foundational experience through internships at prominent fashion firms. Educational background includes an AAS in Fashion/Apparel Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology and a BA in Multi/Interdisciplinary Studies with a minor in Marketing from Florida International University.
