Gopal has had extensive experience in manufacturing, internet services, financial services and project companies. During his career, he has also been involved in restructuring and M&A. He has worked with renowned organizations like the Thermax Ltd, Amara Raja Batteries Ltd, Sify, Sanmar Group and TTK Pharma.
Gopal is the President – Finance & CFO of Ashok Leyland since July 2013. He is a member of the board of several companies in the Group and he is a Whole-time Director of Ashok Leyland. Gopal also heads the Legal function and drives Corporate Strategy & Business Analytics for Ashok Leyland.
