Euan Taylor

Euan Taylor has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Euan began their career in 2007 as a Shop Floor Assistant at The Co-operative Group, where they managed stock and interacted with customers. In 2009, they transitioned to a Crop Analyst role at W P Bruce, where they collected and tested samples of peas and broad beans.

In 2013, Euan joined Gyrodata as a Field Engineer and worked in this role until 2016. Their responsibilities included various downhole survey tasks and liaising with clients. Euan then worked as an Operations Engineer (Contractor) at SMS Ltd in 2016, where they set up and maintained sensors for well tests and pipelines.

Euan returned to Gyrodata in 2018 as a Survey Specialist, responsible for running downhole survey tools and providing survey data analysis. Euan also briefly served as a Remote Operations Specialist, offering remote monitoring and support services.

In 2017, Euan worked at SSE Enterprise as a BEMS Operator, providing technical support for Building Energy Management Systems. Most recently, in 2022, they joined Ashtead Technology as an Offshore Survey Engineer.

Throughout their work experience, Euan has gained expertise in surveying, data analysis, customer service, technical support, and sensor maintenance.

Euan Taylor attended Webster's High School from 2002 to 2008. Euan then enrolled at the University of Glasgow from 2008 to 2012, where they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. After working for a few years, Euan returned to the University of Glasgow in 2016 and completed their Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering within a year, in 2017.
