Laureen Schipsi

Laureen Schipsi is an experienced publishing professional currently serving as the Director of Publishing at Asia Society since October 2022. Additionally, Schipsi has been a Writing Tutor at Fordham University since March 2020. Previous roles include Managing Editor for Poet Lore at The Writer's Center and Instructor in the Department of English at Los Angeles Trade Technical College. Schipsi has extensive freelance editing experience and has held several director positions, including Director of Publications at The Menil Collection and the National Museum of Women in the Arts. Laureen Schipsi holds a Master of Arts in Writing from The Johns Hopkins University, a Certificate in the Basic Program in the Liberal Arts from the University of Chicago, and a Bachelor of Arts in Literature from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
