Kelly Hattel

Kelly Hattel is a Senior Financial Sector Specialist at the Asian Development Bank, focusing on micro, small, and medium enterprise development and improving access to finance in Southeast Asia since January 2011. Prior to this role, Kelly served as a Microfinance Consultant, providing strategic and operational support to networks in Asia and has experience with regional networks in Africa and the Middle East. As the Director of the MicroFinance Network from 2001 to 2006, Kelly managed a global association of leading microfinance institutions and developed strategic plans for the network. Kelly also contributed as a Small Enterprise Development Volunteer with the Peace Corps, assisting women's associations with savings programs and business training. Educational qualifications include a Sustainable Finance course from the University of Cambridge, an MA in International Relations from The Johns Hopkins University, and a BA in International Relations from American University.
