Matthew Xu

Matthew Xu is an experienced leader in supply chain sustainability and corporate responsibility, currently serving as the Head of Global Supply Chain CSR and Deputy General Manager for ASICS Corporate Sustainability since December 2021. Xu has a strong focus on enhancing supply chain excellence and driving climate actions, with a commitment to circular business practices and community engagement. Prior roles include Director of CSR and Sustainability for ASICS North America, Director of Ethical Sourcing and Supply Chain Sustainability at Hasbro, and Director of Supply Chain Sustainability at Ascena Retail Group. Xu's earlier experience includes senior positions at Fung Group and Jones New York, where efforts led to significant advancements in vendor compliance and sustainability initiatives. Academic qualifications include a BA in International Relations and Political Science, a BS in Biochemistry from the University of Arizona, and completion of leadership programs at Stanford University and Cornell University ILR School.
