Bert Jongbloed has extensive experience in the field of research and development, particularly in semiconductor processes, at ASM since October 2006. Currently serving as Senior Director R&D and Head of Process Technology, Bert has held various leadership roles including Director Program Management and Director R&D Process. Responsibilities include the research and development of epitaxial, anneal, oxidation, CVD, and ALD processes, as well as the integration of thin films for advanced device manufacturing. Bert also has a background in high-level system design for large batch reactors and has contributed to continuous improvement programs aimed at enhancing process stability and yield. Bert earned a Master's degree in Applied Physics from the University of Groningen and has studied at ETH Zürich.
