Alex Barrett

Alex Barrett is a Systems Industrialization Engineer III at ASML since July 2022, contributing to the EUV Source Metrology and Plasma Control cross-sector teams. Previously, Alex held the position of Systems Industrialization Engineer II at ASML, focusing on the EUV Source Metrology cross-sector team. In 2021, Alex conducted a Senior Capstone Project at the University of Washington, exploring the application of ultrasonic welding for thermoplastics and composites in Boeing's manufacturing processes, and managed all SEM imaging of samples. Alex also developed a MATLAB model for a Senior Research Project under Professor Lucien N. Brush, showcasing the behavior of oscillating thin film layering. Additionally, Alex served as an Orientation Leader at the University of Washington First Year Programs, guiding over 500 new students during orientation. Alex holds a Bachelor of Science in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Washington, obtained in 2022.
