Basil Aruin

Basil Aruin is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the field of computer systems and project management, currently serving as a Senior Computer Systems Engineer and Senior Engineering Project Manager at ASML since January 2016. In these roles, Basil manages the daily operations of a multi-million dollar prototype EUV light source, ensuring quality in critical testing while serving as the technical expert for test engineers. Previously, Basil held positions as a Senior Test Engineer and Test Engineer, focusing on the integration and testing of prototype EUV systems. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Engineer at Tiptek, LLC, and as an Engineering Technician I at Artisan Scientific, coupled with a foundational role as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Illinois. Basil holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
