Jay Pietraszek is a Principal Hydrogeologist at Aspect Consulting, serving since September 2020. Prior to this role, Jay worked as a Senior Hydrologist and Project Manager at Golder from January 2005 to September 2020, focusing on water quantity and quality assessments for mining companies, municipalities, and land developers. Jay's earlier experience includes serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at Colorado State University from 2002 to 2004, researching post-fire erosion rates and processes on US Forest Service land, and as a Geologist at Environmental Associates from 2000 to 2001, conducting environmental site assessments. Jay holds a Master of Science degree in Watershed Science from Colorado State University (2002-2005) and a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from the University of Montana (1994-2000).
