Gil Farkash

Gil Farkash is an experienced algorithm developer with a strong focus on medical imaging and image processing. Currently employed at Aspect Imaging since January 2021, Gil previously contributed as a researcher and algorithms developer at CathWorks and held multiple roles in algorithm development at CMT Medical Technologies, GE Healthcare, and Shina Systems Ltd. Gil's work has primarily revolved around image denoising and enhancement in x-ray fluoroscopy, radiation dose reduction in CT imaging, and the development of algorithms for CT Angiography. Gil's educational background includes a PhD in Chemical Physics from the Weizmann Institute of Science, an MSc in Biomedical/Medical Engineering, and a BSc in Bio-medical Engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
